Alex Olando Muhanji

Biography

Alex Olando Muhanji is an Economist with vast experience in Economic Policy, Statistics and Data Analytics background from (Maseno University; Kenyatta University). He also holds Post Graduate Certification in Tax Law Administration (Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology) among other Professional Certifications from IMF INSTITUTE and VITARA Accredited courses.

He has worked for Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) for more than eight years with vast experience in taxation and tax statistics analysis & high level reporting; training Counties on Revenue Mapping; participation, facilitation and presentations in global/regional technical forums on Tax Statistics (Revenue Statistics in Africa, International Survey on Revenue Administration (ISORA)), Africa Tax Outlook, IMF Gender Statistics Study-2022, The World Bank and The World Trade Organization (WTO). Finally, Olando has delivered landmarks: in 2015 developed the Domestic Taxes Department-Operations Revenue Statistics Reporting and Monitoring Framework which provided a 'single view of all tax offices revenue collections' and successfully facilitated IMF Gender Statistics in Taxation - Kenya Case Study 2022.
