General information

1 (b)In which language(s) is the classification available?PRODCZECH is a 10-digit nomenclature which is directly derived from PRODCOM list. It covers all obligatory PRODCOM headings on the 8-digit level. When needed for the national purposes more detailed breakdown has been introduced on the lower level of disaggregation. PRODCZECH list also covers some CPA classes which are not covered by PRODCOM list. Then 6-digit level is unsually identical to the CPA. Industrial services not covered by PRODCOM are aggregated to the 4-digit of CPA (concerns 2004 list).

2 (b)Please provide examples of the coding system used at each level.The conversion key between the CN and PRODCZECH has been elaborated on the basis of conversion PRODCOM-CN. As PRODCZECH is just an extension of PRODCOM and/or CPA no other specific conversion tables are needed.

Classification uses
4 (a)Please state for which statistical purposes (surveys etc.) this classification is used and if there are users outside of the Statistical Office. Please indicate at which level the classification is used for data collection and for data publishing.PRODCZECH is applied exclusively by CZSO in the surveys on the industrial production. However the Ministry of Industry refers to the link to PRODCZECH within its own branch surveys when applicable.
4 (b)Please give the names of institutions that use the classification for non-statistical purposes (as opposed to statistical purposes in question 4(a)). Also indicate the kind of use (e.g. tax offices, social security, customs, enterprise register, employment services, work permits etc.)PRODCZECH is used within the survey on industrial production where information on total production (mothly) and production sold (annualy) are collected. PRODCZECH products are also an input into Idustrial production index calculation.
