Classification structure
2 (a)Please describe the structure of the classification: How many levels does the classification have? (Please provide labels, such as “Division”, “Class”) How many categories exist at each level?İFNT (üçüncü versiya) consists of 21 sections, 88 divisions, 272 groups, 615 classes and 751 subclasses.
İFNT (üçüncü versiya) has 4 levels. Code structure of IFNT is as follows:
XX - division
XX.X - group
XX.XX - class
XX.XX.X - subclass
The first three levels are the same with international standard of NACE rev.2. Fourth level reflects the nature of economy of republic.

Classification uses
4 (a)Please state for which statistical purposes (surveys etc.) this classification is used and if there are users outside of the Statistical Office. Please indicate at which level the classification is used for data collection and for data publishing.İFNT (üçüncü versiya) is used for statistical investigations, observations, reports and surveys. It is used by the Ministry of Taxes, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Economic Development for collecting and publishing of data at 5 digit level.
4 (b)Please give the names of institutions that use the classification for non-statistical purposes (as opposed to statistical purposes in question 4(a)). Also indicate the kind of use (e.g. tax offices, social security, customs, enterprise register, employment services, work permits etc.)For non-statistical purposes, İFNT is used by Ministry of Economic Development, Customs Committee and Research Institutes.

Implementation / revision status

If not yet adopted, please indicate the current state (e.g. in development, sent for approval, in printing, ready to be distributed etc.)İFNT (üçüncü versiya) was adopted by the college of the State Statistical Committee by order N 28/1 on 14 November 2008 and by the State Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Standardization, Metrology and Patent by order N 155 on 22 December 2008 as state standard in the territory of the country.

IFNT has 4 levels. Code structure of IFNT is as follows:
