United Nations Statistics Division and United Nations Environment Programme have jointly published the Handbook of National Accounting: Integrated Environmental and Economic Accounting – An Operational Manual. The Handbook provides, on the basis of country experiences, hands on guidance on the implementation of the more practical modules of the System of integrated Environmental and Economic Accounting (SEEA). It is accompanied by user-friendly software consisting of a sequence of worksheets. The manual is the result of collaboration with the "Nairobi Group", a group of experts from developed and developing countries, international organizations and non-governmental organizations.
