The study aims to develop more sophisticated methodology for monitoring of the informal construction sector in order to relevant calculate the value added to prepare the Gross Domestic Product. 

The Existing Building Survey is carried out as complementary activity to cover existing buildings in the informal construction sector, which cannot be covered in the main economic surveys that target construction establishments.
