This inaugural report of the Cayman Islands’ System of National Accounts (CISNA) focuses on the development, implementation and preliminary results of the SNA for the Cayman Islands. The estimation of gross domestic product (GDP) was done using the production approach. The GDP is obtained by summing the value added across all 15 industries of the Cayman Islands’ economy.

The report covers, inter alia, key concepts and definition, data sources, the business survey, estimation methodology for both current and constant price estimates. The preliminary results by industry are also presented in the report.
