Physical Flow Accounts of Finland, and the methods used in compilation have been developed as a result of several projects. The structure of the report is as follows. In Chapter 2, the main content, notions used, general features of measurement methods and accounting structures are presented. In Chapter 3 the results of the physical flow accounts are analysed more closely. The main tables of the physical flow accounts of Finland are presented in the Tables section and classifications used in the presented tables are in Annex 1. The main data sources of the accounts can be found in Annex 2. Annex 3 contains a more detailed description of the calculation methods of unobservable flows. Special attention is given to material balances of fuel combustion and biological metabolism.
