Sixteenth meeting of the IAEG-SDGs
The sixteenth meeting of the Inter-agency and Expert Group on Sustainable Development Goal Indicators (IAEG-SDGs) will be held in person from 5 to 7 November 2025 in Kitakyushu, Japan. The meeting will be hosted by Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
The meeting will follow the same format as previous in-person IAEG-SDGs meetings. There will be a members-only meeting taking place during the first day (5 November) and a Plenary Session taking place during the next two days (6 – 7 November). For the plenary sessions, non-IAEG member countries, international and regional agencies and entities, and other stakeholders will be invited to register to attend.
The registration period to attend in person is now closed. Due to limited space, not everyone will be accepted. Registrations will be reviewed to ensure a balanced representation of stakeholders whose work closely aligns with the objective of the IAEG-SDGs. Registrants will be notified of the decision no later than 20 August 2025.
Note: Neither UNSD, nor Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications offer supporting funds to facilitate the travel of participants. Attendance must therefore be completely self-financed and self-arranged, including travel, accommodation and any other related expenses.
