Statistical Literacy Initatives Inventory

Purpose: To provide students in secondary schools, often via their teachers, with teaching material which enhances the understanding of statistics and analyses of topics that are relevant for young peoples' lives, and which also is of relevance for competence aims in curricula. The competence aims which we select from the curricula are those on which Statistics Norway can provide sound information. Ie., the main idea of the initiative is to enable students in upper secondary schools to learn about statistics and analyses and good quality facts in a relevant way.

Challenges: Tomake sure that we do not overlap with other producers who provide teaching material in an unnecessary manner. Technical constraints and resources, at present we mostly provide web pages and not so much interactive material and videos.
