Qatar to Release its Final Census Results on WSD
13 August 2010 -- The Qatar Statistics Authority (QSA) will mark
World Statistics Day on 20 October 2010 through releasing on that symbolic day the final results of its
2010 census conducted in April. QSA published in July some preliminary results
of its Census of Population, Housing and Establishments 2010, the biggest such operation ever conducted in Qatar.
Preliminary data revealed that the total population of Qatar has reached 1,696,563 in Qatar as of 20 April 2010.
More than half of the world’s population will be counted during a
population and housing census during 2010.
