This consultation document/ questionnaire of the Interagency Task Force on Statistics of International Trade in Services (TFSITS) sets out the need to update the Manual on Statistics of International Trade in Services. It identifies aspects of the Manual that need updating, and offers some proposals on the scope of the update and some possible improvements with questions for your response. The consultation document is addressed to both compilers and users of trade in services statistics in all the member countries of the United Nations (UN), the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) as well as to interested international organisations.

While the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD) is contacting national statistical offices, the IMF and WTO are simultaneously contacting national central banks and trade organizations. Respective international organizations will be contacted as well.
