Overview   39th Session (2008)


Membership

The Statistical Commission consists of 24 member countries of the United Nations, elected by the United Nations Economic and Social Council on the basis of an equitable geographical distribution. The term of office of members is four years.

The 4-day exhibition will focus on statistical development in Africa. Statistical publications including books, posters, brochures, and CDs as well as promotional material on statistical activities in African countries will be displayed at the exhibition.
