Comments on the Consistency of the Full Set of Provisional Recommendations

For this review, consistency is broadly defined, including
 - consistency among the recommendations on the 44 issues agreed in the four meetings of the AEG,
 - consistency between the recommendations on the 44 issues and existing text of the SNA,
 - consistency within the existing text of the SNA, and
 - consistency between the text of the SNA (existing or recommended) and other statistical standards.
Such a review of consistency had been envisaged at the outset of the update process as a necessary step 2 to assure internal integrity of the 1993 SNA, Rev. 1 and its harmony with other manuals in macroeconomic statistics.
