UN ServiceTrade is based on concepts and EBOPS classifications developed in the Manual on Statistics of International Trade in Services (MSITS), prepared by the Interagency Task Force on Statistics of International Trade in Services and edited in 2002. The Manual on Statistics of International Trade in Services sets out a statistical framework for the collection and dissemination of Trade in Services data.
