This 1960 United Nations publication of recommendations updates its historical predecessor on sampling survey reporting and sampling methodology, contained in The Preparation of Sampling Survey Reports, Series C, No. 1 (1950). The revised set of recommendations was prepared by an expert group consisting of F. Yates as chairman, P.C. Mahalanobis as vice-chairman, and T. Dalenium, N. Keyfitz, V. Monakhov and P. Thionet. Issued in response to the changes and development in methodological aspects of statistical sampling in the 1950s. |
