Recommendations for the 1983 World Programme of Industrial Statistics:Part Two: Organization and Conduct of Industrial Censuses

Series: M, No. 71/Part Two
Sales number: 81.XVII.12
Languages:Click for help *[English]*[French]*[Spanish]
Part two deals with the practical aspects of undertaking the census, beginning with the planning and preparatory phases and continuing through the review of tabulated data to the publication of the preliminary and final results. Annex I discusses practical sampling techniques in industrial censuses, and annex II contains specimen questionnaires. The recommendations should be regarded as a revised and updated edition of parts one and three of the Recommendations for the 1973 World Programme of Industrial Statistics (Sales Nos. E.71.XVII.13 and E.72.XVII.10). Part two of the 1973 recommendations (Sales No. E.71.XVII.16) is still useful as a point of reference.
