Glossary of the 1993 SNA - Definition of Term

TermChange in real national net worth
DefinitionThe change in real national net worth is the sum of changes in net worth of all resident institutional sectors less the neutral holding gains/losses (that is, in proportion to the general price level); it is also equal to the sum of saving and capital transfers, other changes in volume of assets and real holding gains or losses.
