Foreign exchange rates are shown in units of national currency per US dollar and refer to end-of-period quotations. Unless otherwise stated, the table refers to the midpoint market rates (average of buying and selling rates) market rates for all dates so far as data are available. For dates prior to those for which market rates are available, the series represent fixed par value of central rates agreed with the International Monetary Fund.
