Technical note |
Electricity production refers to gross production, which includes the consumption by station auxiliaries and any losses in the transformers that are considered integral parts of the station. Included also is total electric energy produced by pumping installations without deduction of electric energy absorbed by pumping. Data are presented in millions of kilowatt hours (million kWh).
Two series of electricity production are provided:
Gross production by enterprises whose main purpose is the generation of electric energy for public use.
Total gross generation of electricity, including generation by industrial establishments generating primarily for own use.
P = Gross production by enterprises whose main purpose is
the generation of electric energy for public use.
I+P = Total gross generation of electricity, including generation by industrial establishments generating primarily for own use.
