The United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD) is one of seven international
organisations participating in data collection for the Joint Organisations Data
Initiative (JODI). This database only contains data collected by UNSD. For the
complete database with data from all participating countries, please go to
www.jodidb.org Monthly data on Crude Oil, NGL, LPG, Naphtha, Gasoline, Kerosene,
Gas/Diesel Oil, and Fuel Oil is given in Thousand metric tons. Monthly data on
Natural Gas is given in Million cubic metres and Million Terajoules. Energy
quantities are at a national level. Coverage is from 2001 onwards. Monthly data
cover a calendar month. Data are disseminated on a monthly basis. Monthly data
transmitted to UNSD often contain provisional information, which is revised when
the definitive information is made available. Data are updated in cases when
errors are identified or participating countries transmit revised figures. Data
on energy is submitted on the basis of the JODI Questionnaire employing an
internationally agreed methodology. The accuracy of the basic data depends on
the quality of the national statistical systems and may vary from country to
