Regional Conferences

The Statistics Division promotes the development and the use of geographical information systems in developing countries through United Nations Regional Cartographic Conferences and forums.

The Statistics Division organizes and services the following cartographic conferences:

• United Nations Regional Cartographic Conference for Asia and the Pacific, convened every three years;
• United Nations Regional Cartographic Conference for the Americas, convened every four years;
