Chapter 4 - Introduction

Modified on 2013/05/03 13:57 by Administrator Paths: Read in Order Categorized as Chapter 4 - Analysis and presentation of gender statistics
Previous chapters have presented important elements in producing gender statistics: (i) gender issues, data needed to address those issues; and their coverage in censuses, surveys or administrative sources of data; (ii) gender-bias in data collection and how to improve the data collection from a gender perspective. After data have been collected, adequate data analysis and presentation ensure that meaningful differences and similarities between women and men are reflected in the statistics disseminated. This is the focus of this last chapter of the manual.
