During this session all countries will give a brief presentation as requested in the invitation letter.
In addition, selected (4-5) countries will give a longer presentation: countries with considerable experience in the implementation of environmental-economic accounting present their experience in terms of: (a) problems encountered in the implementation (e.g. gaps in knowledge/ methodologies, lack of resources –human and financial, political support coordination with other agencies, etc.), (b) solutions to the problems listed in (a); (c) role of international organizations in general and in particular of the Committee. Countries with more limited experience on the implementation of environmental-economic accounting present their experience in setting up the programme of implementation and what they envisage the role of the Committee to be.

The Questionnaire should serve as a basis for countries/international organizations to structure their presentations.
