Twenty tables on fertility, natality and foetal deaths, cross-tabulated by various social and demographic characteristics, such as age of mother, sex of child, birth order, etc. are collected through these questionnaires. These tables are then disseminated in the special editions of the Demographic Yearbook dedicated to the topics of natality, fertility and mortality, and population census statistics. Detailed statistics on natality were published by the United Nations Statistics Division in two issues of the Demographic Yearbook: 1999 and 1986.
