Manufacture of synthetic or artificial filament yarn, whether or not textured, high tenacity, multiple or cabled. Manufacture of synthetic or artificial nonfilament or strip (e.g. artificial straw). Exclusion: Manufacture of yarns of man-made staple is classified in class 1711 (Preparation and spinning of textile fibres; weaving of textiles). Manufacture of textured, plied, cabled or otherwise processed yarns from filaments, tow, staple or yarn not made in the same unit is also classified in class 1711.
