Explanatory note This class includes farming of domestic animals, such as beef cattle, sheep, goats, horses, asses, mules or hinnies. Stud farming and the provision of feed lot services for such animals. Production of raw milk, bovine semen. Production of butter, cheese, other dairy products as secondary activity does not change the classification of the unit. Sheep shearing by the sheep owner. Exclusions: Animal boarding, care and breeding are classified in class 0140 (Agricultural and animal husbandry service activities, except veterinary activities). Sheep shearing on a fee or contract basis is also classified in class 0140. Pulled wool is a product of slaughterhouse operation which is classified in class 1511 (Production, processing and preserving of meat and meat products) Processing of milk outside the farm is classified in class 1520 (Manufacture of dairy products).
