Sections : premier niveau comprenant des rubriques identifiées par un code alphabétique
Divisions : deuxième niveau comportant des rubriques identifiées par un code numérique à deux chiffres ;
Groupes : troisième niveau comportant des rubriques identifiées par un code numérique à trois chiffres ;
Classes : quatrième niveau comportant des rubriques identifiées par un code numérique à quatre chiffres.

3 (a)Is this classification based on (or linked to) an international standard classification? If yes, please describe.Oui, la NAEMA rev1 est une adaptaion de la Classification internationales type par industrie des branches d'activités économiques (CITI, rev 4)
3 (b)Is the classification structure identical to the international standard or, if not, how does it differ? (e.g. have additional levels been added to the international standard or have changes been made within the level of the international structure, such as aggregations or additional breakdowns)La structure de la CITI rev4 est respectée mais la NAEMA rev 1 n'est pas identique à la CITI rev 4. la différence se trouve au niveau des groupes et des classes.
3 (c)Please describe deviations from the international standard (in terms of structure, methodology or application rules). Please use examples, if a general statement is not possible.Les 21 sections et les 88 divisions sont les mêmes que celles de la CITI rev 4. Mais on a 157 groupes dans la NAEMA rev1 contre 238 dans la CITI rev4, 287 classes dans la NAEMA contre 419 dans la CITI rev4.
Mais les 157 groupes sont le plus souvent identiques à ceux de la CITI rev4. Les exceptions portent sur des agrégations de groupes CITI rev4 quand cela semblait trop détaillée, ou bien sur des éclatements de groupes CITI rev4 pour mieux décomposer les activités africaines importantes, notamment l’agriculture et l’agro-industrie.

Please indicate at which level the classification is used for data collection and for data publishing.La NAEMA rev1 est une nomenclature utilisée dans tout le système statistique national du Burkina essentiellement lors des enquêtes, de l'élaboration des comptes économiques nationaux et des publications officielles.
