This classification is completely realised in Statistical information system.
3 (e)If no links to international classifications exist or no international standard is used, please state if there are plans to use international norms in the future.It is planned to elaborate the Russian classification of products by economic activities (OKPD - Общероссийский классификатор продукции по видам экономической деятельности /ОКПД/) mutual linked with the Russian classification of economic activity types (OKVED - Общероссийский классификатор видов экономической деятельности /ОКВЕД/). Statistical classification of products by activity (CPA) in the European Economic Community and List "PRODCOM" (Eurostat).
 
Classification uses

Please indicate at which level the classification is used for data collection and for data publishing.Codes of OKP (Russian products classification) are used in business statistics. There are users outside of the Statistical Office.
4 (b)Please give the names of institutions that use the classification for non-statistical purposes (as opposed to statistical purposes in question 4(a)). Also indicate the kind of use (e.g. tax offices, social security, customs, enterprise register, employment services, work permits etc.)Codes of OKP are used for statistical analysis of industrial production and agricultural production on macroeconomic, regional and branch's level.
The level of aggregation used - 6 digits.
4 (c)Please indicate if alternative classifications are used by other institutions of the economy. Are these classifications available and useful for the Statistical Office?Monthly collecting and processing of about 1000 items of the Nomenclature which is necessary for calculation of industrial production index, yearly - about 7 thousand items. Summary data are published in the report "Social economic situation in Russia" (monthly) and in other publications of Goskomstat of Russia.
