American Community Survey - Design and Methodology


This paper by the US Census Bureau provides a comprehensive description of the methods and procedures currently used in the American Community Survey (ACS). The paper contains a wide variety of topics ranging from sample design, content development, data collection and processing, data products and dissemination to user assistance. The purpose of this paper is to provide data users and other interested individuals with documentation of the final methods planned for the ACS.
