Australian Census Issues


This paper by Susan Linacre (Australian Bureau of Statistics) presents some salient issues that were identified for consideration during preparations for the 2006 census of Australia, including: topics disability/unpaid work in the census content, use of internet in censuses, collection issues (inner city areas of large cities, non contact follow-up, indigenous Australians in traditional communities), and dissemination issues.
