Country profiles

The country profiles are a collection of series grouped together in what we call "profiles": development finance, trade, environment etc. To view a country profile select a profile from the drop-down box and select one or more countries. Then press the "GO" button. The series of the selected profile for the first country selected will be displayed for preselected years (currently 1990, 1995 -2000).

Only the lines for which there is at least one observation available are displayed. In other words empty lines are not displayed and therefore the contents of any given profile may vary from country to country.

As indicated above one can select more than one country/area. Multiple countries/areas are selected by holding down either the "Shift" or the "Ctrl" key and click on a country. "Ctrl" adds a single country to the list, while "Shift" adds all the countries between the first selected and the one clicked on -- the standard convention.

The data are displayed one country at a time. To view the data on any preselected country open the "Countries" drop-down box and select the desired country. Alternatively, one can view a different profile for the currently displayed country by opening the "Profiles" drop-down box and selecting the desired profile.

The series of the profiles are linked to the corresponding "Series details" screen.
