Inventory of groups, task teams and other coordination mechanisms in the Global Statistical System

During its 12th session in September 2008, the Committee for the Coordination of Statistical Activities (CCSA) (document SA/2008/24) requested the Statistical Office of the European Communities (Eurostat) to complete the Inventory of groups, task teams and other coordination mechanisms in the Global Statistical System.

The inventory gives a fairly comprehensive overview of the working groups operating at the international level, organised by subject matter. Its overall objective is to serve as a rolling list of reference with regular updates from all international organizations involved. The Inventory is an important tool towards avoiding duplication in their work and efforts.

The Inventory is being updated on a biannual basis by Eurostat.
