Using data from the ABSBR, the ABS can provide statistical tables focussing on postcode, state and National counts with cross-tabulations using categories such as industry and employment size ranges. Counts include both employing and non-employing businesses.

Information that could identify individual businesses remains confidential. Data will not be released where there are fewer than five business entities in a cell, and if only one cell in a row or column is confidentialised, then secondary confidentialisation will be applied.
